2016 Honda Odyssey | Review

So by now you’ve probably heard about the mini-van with the built-in vacumm. Right?

It’s the Honda Odyssey.

I have been a HUGE Honda Odyssey fan for over 10 years. I have owned both a 2003 Odyssey, and currently drive a 2008 Odyssey.

I am biased, I confess.

I mean, come’on! This car even has a cool box! Put those juice boxes in there and let’s roll.

I’ll tell you what I love most about the Honda Odyssey.

Everything.

Ha! Kidding. I will tell you for real. With little ones, you’ve always got carseats, strollers, snacks, toys, diaper bags and just a lot of stuff to shlep around. A LOT of stuff.

Having sliding doors and a ton of cargo space just makes it easier. Easier than an SUV, a large sedan, or station wagon. There is more room in the garage, it’s easier, not to mention safer, to get in and out in parking lots too.

Having an eight-seater also means playdates, visitors and extra family members!

Overall, the Honda Odyssey met all of my must-haves (big surprise):

  • leather upholstery
  • back-up camera
  • push-button lift-gate
  • USB connection
  • heated seats
  • power sun roof
  • Fits in my garage
  • 8-passenger seating

The price as driven was $57,000 (incl. tax) which works out to about $769 per month over 7 years according to the Cars.com Auto Loan Calculator.
