Modern Mama, your locally-focused resource for moms is partnering with Entrepreneur Mom Now, an inspirational and educational online magazine for entrepreneurial moms in their first five years of business, to bring you this remarkable event on Saturday, March 2^nd in Edmonton.

This event is designed to inspire, teach, and offer opportunities for moms who are fairly new to their entrepreneurial endeavors, as well as those looking for the perfect opportunity to work around their child’s schedule and haven’t yet found that “perfect fit”.

Our inspirational keynote is Kim Gluckie, founder of  MPowered Marketing. Kim started MPowered Marketing with the intention of changing the lives of other women entrepreneurs, while also changing her own. Mom of 3 young girls, she describes herself as a full-time mom, part-time entrepreneur. Kim will be sharing purposeful and incredibly useful information for any mom looking to do the same. Honoring that most solo start ups come from a very personal, passionate pursuit to fulfill a dream, she will infuse her knowledge gained from a 16 year career in marketing. Kim is also the City Leader of CRAVE Calgary and Founder of the International Alliance of Motivated Part-Time Entrepreneurs.

At the event you will also find a plethora of business offerings looking for local moms just like you! They will be able to provide details and information specifically for you. A “Passport to Start Up” will take you through each opportunity. A completed passport enters you to win $200 cash. That should help with the start up!
