{ Review } Canadian Originals Subscription Box

About

Canadian Originals is a new Canadian monthly subscription box featuring artisan products selected from the best Canada has to offer. Every month they curate a selection of 3-5 items that are not widely available abroad or across the country. Then they pack them up and ship them right to your door between the 7th-10th of each month. All their vendors are Canadian makers- from mompreneurs to small indie brands, everything you find in their boxes are gorgeous and handmade!

Recently Canadian Originals sent me their debut box to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday! I loved the variety of items, it has everything from home decor, jewelry, natural bath and beauty items and much more!

What’s In The Box

The Giclée Canada map watercolor print from Art by Andrea Hill is absolutely gorgeous! This is a great memento to have for Canada’s big birthday.

I am totally candle obsessed, and the beeswax candle from 9 Senses is one of my favorites! It reminds me of this incredible soap I used to buy from Lush Cosmetics – yum!

I’m a sucker for salted caramels and these did not disappoint. My husband thought they tasted a bit burnt but I totally disagree. I’m the one who went to culinary school after all!

Even though I’m not a jewelry person, this maple leaf necklace from Hidden Gems by Raquel is beautiful.

I always have the hardest time picking out home decor but when I saw the Home plaque I couldn’t resist but put it up immediately. It is currently hanging in our dining room for everyone to see!

While I wish the soap was a bit more Canadian inspired it certainly smells amazing. Plus my daughter loved the vibrant rainbow colors!

Last but not least was this lovely Canadian Mint Anniversary Edition quarter. My kids already have a start to a coin collection thanks to my grandparents and I’m thrilled it add this gorgeous coin to the bunch.

The Verdict

I was very impressed with this subscription box! I loved the variety of items and the fact that they are all Canadian makers just makes it even better. The subscription box is at a very reasonable price point of only $55/month but you can get it even cheaper if you sign up for a longer subscription.  I would highly recommend checking them out and supporting local vendors in our country!
