If you’re anything like I am then you love having huge birthday parties for your little ones but would rather skip on the clean up. Luckily for those living in the lower mainland there are quite a few options for us to have the party elsewhere. I had previously listed my top picks for birthday party destinations HERE  but have since come across some more finds that I had to share.

1: The Vancouver Tumblebus

TUMBLEBUS® is a cheerfully decorated  gym on wheels filled with fun equipment such as monkey bars, balance beam, vault, trampoline, rings, zip line and much more. They provide a unique and fun way for children to get physical fitness important to their development.  They cater to kids between the ages of 2 and 10 and take the bus on location to birthday parties, festivals, company picnics, summer camps, daycares, elementary schools, private schools and so much more. Visit www.vancouvertumblebus.com to learn more.

2: Vancouver Circus School

Yes that’s right, circus school. What could be cooler then that? Join the Vancouver Circus School for an afternoon of unforgettable fun. Invite family and friends to participate in a variety of circus activities including Aerial Silk, Trampoline, Juggling and much more! (They also offer a Swinging Trapeze option at their New Westminster and North Vancouver locations.)

3:  6 Pack Indoor  Beach

An indoor beach? Yes, its true. Summer’s favourite activities are now year round in their 18,000 sf. heated facility. Their birthday parties are unique and fun, not only for the kids but the adults too. Think of it as a day at the beach…without the sunburn! Activities to choose from include: beach volleyball, dodgeball, soccer, rugby, handball, ping pong, frisbee, sand castle building, parachute, tug-o-war, or even treasure hunts and a variety of other games.

4:  Romana Pizza & Steak House

Have you ever wondered how pizza is made? Romana’s in Burnaby Heights offers pizza parties suitable for ages 4 and up.  Make your own 10 inch pizza and learn about how to make dough, press sauce and watch your creation go into the oven! There are even trivia questions to answer along the way. $15 per child includes your own pizza and a beverage.

5:  Telus World Of Science

A unique experience for all ages. Whether you’re into crazy chemistry experiments, fantastic feats of physics, or just looking to discover something new, a Science World birthday party has all the elements to make your celebration unforgettable.

Your party room time includes a 30-minute, zany science demonstration by your host.
You’ll then have about 75 minutes to open presents and eat your meal and cake.
After your party room time, you can spend the rest of the day in TELUS World of Science.
Explore our exhibits, visit our Science Theatre and experience our science demonstrations
at the Peter Brown Family Centre Stage.
