As we near the end of August and the weather is cooling off, the activities and events happening in Edmonton are heating up! There are so many great things to do this weekend and we have the list right here for you:

A Midsummer Night’s Fringe

The Fringe Festival is back again and is truly a festival you won’t want to miss; with a wide variety of performances, there is something for everyone! Oh, and there is a KidsFringe as well, complete with activities that your little ones will love!

Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival

The Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival is an annual family friendly event that features paddling, culture and a lot of boats. Find the details here.

Grove Cruise

Grove Cruise is an annual event that invites the community and car enthusiasts alike to enjoy a festival around car culture; there will be a show & shine as well as many other activities for the families through out the day and fireworks to end the night. Find the full schedule of events here.

Drive-In Movie

St. Albert Centre is once again offering a drive-in movie experience in their parking lot; this weekend features Kung Fu Panda 3 and all proceeds from this event support the International Children’s Festival of the Arts.

Callingwood Cars & Coffee

Callingwood Cars and Coffee is back for Summer ’17! Bring your wheels to the Marketplace at Callingwood parking lot and meet up with fellow fans, enjoy refreshments and admire a variety of vehicles.

Alberta Open Farm Days

South Cooking Lake Trail Days

South Cooking Lake Community League invites you to their Trail Days event, activities include a pancake breakfast, parade, car show, pony rides, kids’ games and races, bouncy house, water slide, face painting, hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), horseshoe tournament, Country Market and much more.
