I wrote a post back in January last year about my basic beauty routine and I wanted to give you a quick update! This morning it took me 8 minutes from the time I was dressed to walking out the door, and that included a blow-dry.
1 | Neutrogena All-in-One Make-Up Removing Cleansing Wipes, 25 Count
These are my go-to get ready for bed at night product. Add some moisturizer afterwards and you’ve shaved years off! A beauty expert once told me that for every night that you go to bed with your make-up on, you’re aging your skin significantly.
2 | Christian Dior DiorSkin Airflash Spray Foundation 202 Cameo
A makeup artist who did a make-over on me recently recommended I try Airflash by Cristian Dior for a foundation that is light and yet covers anything and everything. It is an aerosol product you spray onto a makeup brush (this is a good one) and apply to your face. I chose instead to save [quite a] few bucks and went with the Sephora brand. It’s fantastic, and surprisingly quick to apply, even in the 5 minutes I have in the morning.
3 | Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow Waterproof Eye Shadow Pencil – # 6E (Matte Navy Blue) 4g/0.14oz
I use navy blue since it sets off my dark brown eyes best.
4 | NARS Blush – Super Orgasm 4.8g/0.16oz
You need a pretty pinky/beachy blush! I love NARS and have been using this brand of blush in various shades (although this shade is their ultimate best seller!) for over six years.
5 | L’Oreal Voluminous False Lashes Mascara, Black, 0.34 Ounce
I don’t leave the house without false lashes or several coats of this. If you want to splurge, the Chanel – Sublime De Chanel mascara has great reviews online (and this one comes in deep purple!).
There you have it. Throw on some lip balm or gloss and you’re done!
