The first weekend in May… already?! There are so many awesome family friendly activities happening this weekend and I have a list here for you!

Butterdome Spring Craft Show

The Butterdome Spring Craft Show features a variety of vendors showcasing their handmade items.

When: May 1st through 3rd
Where: The Butterdome
Cost: $5 Adults | $4 Youth | FREE children 12 and under

Shrine Circus

The Edmonton Shrine Circus, presented by Al Shamal Shriners is fun for the whole family.

When: May 1st through 3rd
Where: Edmonton Expo Centre, Hall D
Cost: $25 | Tickets are available through the Shrine ticket office (780-413-3400) or through Ticketmaster.

Ermineskin Community Garage Sale & Big Bin Event

The Ermineskin Community Garage Sale is a community fundraiser that is open to everyone! The sale will be happening on May 1st & 2nd and there will be a pancake breakfast & bottle drive on the 2nd.

When: May 1st  (4 to 7 pm) and May 2nd (9 am to 1 pm)
Where: Ermineskin Community Leaugue
Cost: Large item drop off is free to Erminskin Members and is $10 for public

 Lovable Littles Uptown Market

Lovable Littles is a Modern Market serving ‘littles’ and the ones who love them; with over 100 vendors and various activities their is something for the whole family!

When: May 2nd | 10 am to 4 pm
Where: Terwillegar Community Church
Cost: Admission $3

Kinderland Market

Kinderland Market is a huge sale of new & used children’s items.

When: May 2nd | 11 am to 3 pm
Where: Servus Place, St. Albert
Cost: Admission is $5 from 11 am to 1 pm & $2 from 1 pm to 3 pm

The Hamptons Community Outgrown It Sale

If you are looking for gently used children’s items check out the Hampton’s Community Outgrown It Sale!

When: May 2nd | 10 am to 2:30 pm
Where: River West Christian Church (19815 45 Ave)
Cost: Minimum $1 donation to the Bessie Nichols School Playground Fund

City Market Downtown

When: May 2nd | 9 am to 3 pm
Where: City Hall
Cost: FREE

Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market

When: May 2nd | 8 am to 3 pm
Where: 10310 83 Ave NW
Cost: FREE

Antique Gardening Sale

If you are a gardener, why not get the little ones involved too? This weekend the Antique Gardening sale features vendors who have decor and ideas for sale as well as lots of gardening tools!

When: May 2nd | 10 am to 6 pm
Where: Old Strathcona Antique Mall
Cost: I couldn’t find an admission cost but you could contact the organizers to be sure.

Drop-in at the John Walter Museum

Enjoy a hands-on, guided tour of the John Walter Museum.

When: May 3rd | 1- 4 pm
Where: 9180 Walterdale Hill NW (Located at the bottom of Walterdale and Queen Elizabeth roads, on the north side of the Kinsmen Sport Centre parking lot).
Cost: FREE

Momstown Community Celebration

The Momstown Community Celebration offers a variety of activities for you and your little ones; details can be found here.

When: May 3rd | 10 am to 4 pm
Where: Ice Palace, West Edmonton Mall
Cost: FREE

Walk so Kids Can Talk

Walk So Kids Can Talk is an annual walk that raises funds and awareness for Kids Help Phone; you can register to walk or make a donation here.

When: May 3rd | Registration opens at 9:30 am | Walk starts at 11 am
Where: Hawrelak Park
Cost: By donation, more information here
