SKIING, SNOW BOARDING AND LESSONS

Group lessons begin as young as age three and drop-off day care begins as young as 18 months in the Village. Private lessons can be had for any age and a great addition to our Kid-Friendly Guide to Whistler.

The Coca-Cola Tube Park is on Blackcomb Mountain and is perfect for a fun snow activity on a non-ski day for the whole family making it the perfect addition to our kid-friendly guide to Whistler.

Strap on the blades and go skating for a change! The Meadow Park Sports Centre is on Highway 99.

Museum

Visit the Whistler Museum (4333 Main Street)  for everything from pioneer stories to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games when you’re looking for an indoor afternoon.
The Museum is open 7 days a week, 11am-5pm, and is also open late night on Thursdays 11am-9pm.

Olympic related tours, park and viewing

Whister Olymic Park is a true outdoor playground and host venue for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. It opens over winter for nordic skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, biathlon, base boarding, sightseeing, fat biking and more. Bring the family and enjoy all the activities as well as the comfortable day lodge and facilities.

kid friendly guide to whistlerPeak 2 Peak

Access to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola at either Mountain base (Whistler or Blackcomb) and explore this world record-breaking gondola. Your PEAK 2 PEAK 360 ticket includes access to the Whistler Village Gondola, any operating open-air chairlifts and the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola.
