It is just me or did 2014 whiz by?! Now that 2015 is right around the corner, I bet you are wondering what family friendly activities are happening on New Years Eve in Edmonton & Area. Here you go:

Family New Year’s Party

Family activities; crafts and more! (Note: for parents and children aged 0-5)

When: 1 to 2:30 pm
Where: Gymboree Play & Music (356 Bulyea Road, Edmonton)
Cost: $10 per child (adults are free)

New Year’s Eve Downtown

Inside: Crafts; activities; face painters; live music; and more!

Outside: A special screening of Frozen; skating and fireworks!

When: 7 pm start (in City Hall) | 7:15 pm showing of Frozen in Sir Winston Churchill Square | Fireworks at 10 pm (Sir Winston Churchill Square)
Where: City Hall (indoor activities) & Sir Winston Churchill Square (Fireworks; skating & concessions)
Cost: FREE

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Enjoy Fireworks with the family

When: 8:30 – 9:30 pm
Where: Mission Park (9 Mission Avenue; St. Albert)
Cost: Free to attend

New Year’s Eve Family Dance

Family Dance; Silent Auction; Live Band & Midnight Lunch

When: Doors open at 7:30 pm
Where: Devon Community Centre (Devon)
Cost: $20 Adult | $10 Children 4 and up | FREE Children under 3

New Years Festival

Carnival games; face painting; inflatables; free hot chocolate; public skating and more! AND fireworks!

When: Activities from 4 to 8 pm; fireworks at 8 pm (Note: Family Fun Activities happening on January 1st as well; 4 to 8 pm)
Where: Broadmoor Lake Park (Sherwood Park)
Cost: FREE

Family Fest

Live entertainment; public skating; crafts & activities; horse drawn wagon rides; hot chocolate, hot dogs & popcorn and more! AND Fireworks!

When: Activities from 6 to 9 pm (Fireworks at 8:30)
Where: Heritage Park Pavilion (Stony Plain)
Cost: FREE
