The weekend is just around the corner and it is jam-packed full of fun things to do in Edmonton and area! If you are looking to get out with the family and/or do something special with Dad, check out these awesome activities:

Royal Canadian Family Circus

The Royal Canadian Family Circus Spectac! is back in Edmonton again this year! This is one of my families favorite events and you can read more details and a little bit about our experience last year, here! With brand new acts this year and some death defying stunts, this is an event you won’t want to miss!!

Festival Days

The Morinville Festival Society invites you to enjoy their annual Festival Days (or Jean Baptiste Festival). There is something for everyone at this festival and some of the activities included are, midway, show & shine, parade, ax throwing, interactive family logger sports, helicopter rides and more!

National Garden Days Celebration

Garden Days is an opportunity for Canadians to enjoy their own garden, visit or take part in their favourite garden experience, get inspired at their local garden centre or travel to a nearby destination to enjoy their favourite garden.” The Devonian Gardens invites you to enjoy their gardens this weekend, with half-price admission on Friday, special activities on Saturday and a Father’s Day BBQ on Sunday, there is a little something for everyone!

Provincial Mine Rescue Competition

The Alberta Mine Safety Association (AMSA) was formed in 1982 to look for opportunities to make mining safe for all Albertans. This is still their goal and they invite you to watch their mine rescue competition this weekend.

Annual Pancake Breakfast

The Downtown Edmonton Community League Board invites you to enjoy pancakes, sausages, coffee, and juice at their annual pancake breakfast.
