Yogurt In a Bag: Really! #iögo

My kids are always asking for snacks. Like, constantly. Five minutes after dinner my youngest will tell me she is hungry.

I know it’s not just my kids, kids are just hungry often. They’re growing and expending calories constantly. When they’re sleeping they’re growing, when they’re at activities they’re active, when they’re at school their brains are humming. It’s pretty much nonstop.

It is not always easy or convenient, to make healthy choices. If we have cereal and toaster pastries in the house, for example, my kids chose those things first. So I try to have lots of snack and breakfast options in the house that are not only healthy, but easy for them to grab or for me to prepare for them.

Yogurt has always been a staple in my house, but I used to buy it in the single serving containers. I learned that my girls don’t like to take those for lunches anyway (they get warm by lunch time) so I started buying the tubs for at home. We make smoothies, parfaits and just a bowl of plain yogurt for snacks.

iögo is now offering large serving pouches of their three best-selling flavours: original, probio and greek. They are pretty big, meaning they will last through more than one snack time or meal (even with my three girls!). They are 20 portions (2KG) in size!

The pouches come in:

  • iögo Original in Vanilla and Strawberry.
This is their original line of creamy yogurts.
  • iögo Probio in Vanilla and Strawberry.
This probiotic yogurt has 25% less sugar than the original flavours.
  • iögo Greek in Vanilla 2% and Plain 0%
This thick and creamy yogurt has 18g proteins per serving of 175g.

You can easily just squirt the yogurt into the bowl and eat, and because these pouches are big, you can make a few easy treats with them, reseal the bag and put it right back in the refrigerator.

Here are a few ways that my family and I enjoy eating yogurt:

Berlin’s Smoothie
